Rounds
In our backyard, we have two bird feeders. Since I try to attract cardinals, I keep them filled with sunflower seeds. Early in the mornings or late in the afternoons, the birds make their rounds. Seems as if they spend all their time looking for food. From one feeder to another, they are continually hunting for something to eat.
Reasons You Still Have Hope
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. - Romans 5:5
Everything You Have Done

We Smell Like Our Work
“Where is that smell coming from?” she asked her server. He explained that it was being carried by the workers from a nearby perfume factory. They had finished their shift and were walking down the street, on their way home.
Just For Today
Today, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am for hurting you, causing you pain and betraying you.
Today, I wanted to let you know how apologetic I am for mistreating you
Today, I wanted to let you know how sorry I am for calling you names
Today, I wanted to say I am sorry for the things I've done that have hurt you in all aspects of life
I hope you forgive me for everything that I did that broke your heart
Stagecoach Trail
Stagecoach Trail is a fave place for us to go for a short, not-too-difficult hike. Near the starting spot, there is a circle of rocks, left over remnants of campfire circles. The trail is rocky, sometimes muddy, and large boulders have been shoved to the sides of the path.
My Life Is Not About Me
When I wake up in the morning, I immediately begin thinking about me – my appointments for the day, my aches and pains, my worries about money, my need to hear last night’s sports scores, and my fear that I won’t have an idea for tomorrow’s reflection.
Obedience In Spite of
The story of Noah is a familiar story for most of us, yet we can always learn fresh insights from it. I will always admire Noah for two things: his devotion to God and His commands despite the wickedness of the world he lived in and his obedience even to the most minute details of God's commands.
To Ponder…
To Ponder...
Evening questions:
What worked well for me today?
How were my family relationships?
Who could I appreciate or encourage tomorrow?
What choices tomorrow will increase my energy?
How can I be a better servant (for God) tomorrow?
Solemnity, Christ the King
Solemnity, Christ the King - Perhaps many of us have asked the question: What is the truth about Jesus's kingship? What does Christ our King actually mean?
